Wedding Cinematography
Do you have any cheaper, one camera packages?

We strongly feel that using only a single camera greatly diminishes the quality of the final video. As such we only provide multi-camera packages. The use of multiple cameras allows us to capture multiple angles at once, making it possible to better preserve your special day forever.

Also, given the "live" nature of the ceremony, and the fact that we only get one chance to capture your memories forever, there is too much that can potentially happen to risk using only a single camera to record your special day. Every camera shake, pan, zoom, focus check, and any change of location will end up in your video... not to mention if a guest stands up in front of the camera oblivious to our presence. None of that can be edited out using only a single camera. Using multiple cameras provides us the ability to compensate for this inevitability.

Do you have a time limit for how long you're at my wedding?

No, we feel that putting a set time limit on how long we make ourselves available potentially robs you of what could be some of your most cherished memories. We show up well before the ceremony and stay until the reception starts to wind down, however long that may be.

Will you attend the rehearsal?

Yes, we do attend the rehearsal, but we generally do not record it. We attend it for the purpose of figuring out camera placement and planning how we will best cover the ceremony, as well as clearing up any questions that may arise at the last second. Trying to record the rehearsal at the same time makes this difficult.

Do you use lights?

We may use lights for certain staged elements or interviews we might do before or after the ceremony. However, we never use lights during the ceremony. The use of lights clutters up the setting, causes a trip hazard for guests, and worse... takes away from the ceremony and causes the guests to be distracted when they should be focused on you. Our cameras handle low light levels very well, so only in the most extreme conditions would lighting during the ceremony be an issue to begin with.

Do you use wireless microphones?

Yes, we use high quality UHF wireless systems equipped with excellent lavaliere microphones. These are multichannel systems that allow us to change frequencies to prevent conflicts with the house sound system, local television stations, or other potential sources of interference.

Do you require that we wear them?

Yes, we do require that the wedding officiant and groom each wear a wireless mic. This is non-negotiable, even if the officiant is already wearing or using another mic. Sound is half of any video, and the images from the best cameras in the world won't cover up hissy, echoey, hollow sounding audio. We simply do not want to put ourselves in a situation where we are forced to give you a substandard video. This is your special day, and we don't want to compromise.

The only exception we would make is if you are getting married in a larger church that has a good sound system and an experienced, trained audio engineer running it that will either provide us a feed from the sound board or a recording of the ceremony immediately after, negating the need for us to use our own mics. Even then we would require that both the officiant and groom each wear a house mic.

When do you expect payment?

We do not ask for full payment before your wedding. We ask for 1/3 up front to secure your date. This payment non-refundable. We then ask for 1/3 to be paid up to a week before the wedding itself. The final 1/3 is due once you take delivery of the final DVD/Blu-Ray Disk.

When can we expect the final DVD/Blu-Ray Disk?

While we make every attempt to get you a finished product as soon as possible, previous commitments might delay that up to six months. This is the reason we don't ask for the final payment until you actually receive the final product.
