Wedding Cinematography

The day starts with us showing up a little before you do. We generally start with the bride as she and the bridal party begin to get ready. We record the whole process, interviewing the bride as she gets ready, getting her side of the whole courtship. Where you met, what did you see in him, how did he propose, even the little quirks that might get on your nerves. You know... why you want to spend the rest of your life with him. We then repeat the whole process with the groom and groomsmen. Once we have gotten your love story together, we then record the photoshoot, the signing of the marriage certificate (if you do that before the ceremony), and all of the other preparations.

We then leave to set up for the ceremony. We make sure to position the cameras for the best shots possible without being a distraction (this is why we attend the rehearsal the night before). After the ceremony, we record the marriage certificate signing if you haven't done that already, then quickly tear down and head for the reception.

At the reception, we get everything. Your entrance, the speaches and toasts, the first dances, even the food. It is during this time that the photomontage of your lives we have created for you or your Love Story (should you choose one of those options) is shown for all to see. Then, we record the celebration of your marriage (i.e. the party). During this time, we begin to pull people aside... parents, grandparents, your best friend from 7th grade... and record their well wishes and advice for the new couple. Then once once you've left, we do. And not a moment before.

We don't put a time limit on it. We're there until it's done. It makes for a long day... and a memorable film of that you will cherish for the rest of your lives and give to your children.

We offer two basic packages - a two camera and a three camera option. Both are identical, save for the number of cameras offered. All cameras include an operator.

Additional Options

Photomontage - $500

We set a photo history of your life... first independently, then together... to music. Usually about 75 photos (depending on the length of music). This tends to be very popular to show at the reception.

Love Story - $1000

With this option, we do the interview process that normally takes place during the wedding preparation a month or two in advance time. This is useful if you want to share your story at the reception, as it would otherwise be impossible to edit it the same day. It also allows for a time limit free interview, especially if you're on a tight schedule on the wedding day. However, as this is a little more staged, it does lose some of the organic feeling that the interview during the wedding preparations would have.

This option will eliminate the interview process altogether that would normally take place during the wedding preparations.

*Please note that we need at least three months notice in order to book a wedding. Also, due to prior commitments, we have limited during Seafair (usually last week of July and the first week of August) and Seattle Sounder's home games. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.*
